    1. At first I couldn't get the border to remove. It is 6px wide and grey.  I found this line in the css file associated to the template, changed it to a 0 (zero) and the problem is gone. Not sure if that is a bug or intentional but the hack works for my purposes. Of course, if I update the slider later on I'll have to remember to adjust this setting.

    [BORDERWIDTH]px solid [BORDERCOLOR];padding:6px;}

    2. If I set the XHTML setting to YES, it messes with the layout/formatting of my menu in my site skin (outside of the slider).  If I set the XHTML setting to NO, my skin is fine but then the slider stops working (no image changes and odd objects appearing over top the images.  See the attached JPG comparisons.

    3. I have set the tooltip to disabled, but I still get a small white box that follows my mouse cursor over the image so it seems that the tip isn't really disabled (defect not shown in the attached images).

    Hope you can help.

    1. this is not an issue. there is an option in module control panel labeled "Border Width:" there you can specify border width. In case you don’t want the border to be displayed, leave this field empty or you can enter zero, 0 value.

    2. You are using a none standard skin (HTML) what is obsolete for a few years. you need to modify style of your skin.

    3. What is style selected for tooltip? it should not be "Default-Admin" or "Template-Tip".
    note: two styles above are for module admin area and they shouldn't be used for front end. I noticed they are listed in tooltip styles so I removed them from list box.
    download module again and install it.

    1. The Border Width: in the control panel was set to 0, yet a 6px border was still showing. Digging through the CSS is where I found it set to 6.
    2. I'll look into the skin.
    3. blank Tooltip appears regardless of style chosen (ie: default-lightblue) even though the setting is disabled.

    What is the default XHTML Skin setting? On or off?

    blank Tooltip was because of choosing "Default-Admin" tooltip style. this style was for module back end not front end.

    I've already fixed this issue by removing this tooltip style from styles list box. download and install module again please.

    By default skins should be XHTML, in fact HTML skins are obsolete and they are not standard.

    As our module requires an XHTML skin to work properly, this option is seen for those whom skin is not XHTML and want's to make it XHTML.
