Hello.  We just purchased Dream Slider and are trying to figure out how we can add a PNG image as a transparent mask for the slider to display through, thus giving the slider the look of having custom graphic borders, or irregular shaped display areas.

Anyone out there know how to do this?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Dream Slider image processor creates transparent image as well as other images but you may use another way to show transparent images with content.

    - Go to slide settings area
    - Change slide mode from "Image" to "Content/ Module"
    - Check "Show Content" in "Content" tab
    - Use HTML editor to combine transparent image and text

    Thanks for the reply.

We tried working with suggestion, but could not get it to do what we were wanting using this method.

Here is an example of what we are trying to achieve.  There is a transparent PNG file being used for the border of the slider.  The rotating images are beneath, and showing through the transparent area of the PNG.  This is a simple jQuery code we found for a slider through a mask.

Check it out.  Maybe this helps visualize what we're after.
